Enconne Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") recognizes the protection of personal information and privacy of our users as an important responsibility in providing AltBot (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") explains the information collected, used, stored, and disclosed by the Company through the use of the Service.


1. Scope of Application

This Policy applies to all personal information handled by the Company in connection with the use of the Service.

1.2 About the Closed Beta Version

The Company will begin providing the Closed Beta version of the Service on November 17, 2025.

  • Beta Period: November 17, 2025 to mid-December 2025 (planned)

  • Participation Limit: Limited to 20 servers (planned)

  • Official Release Date: February 2026

During the Closed Beta period, the Service's features and specifications may change without notice. When transitioning to the official version, users will be notified in advance via email and Discord server.

2. Information We Collect

The Company collects the following information for the purpose of providing, improving, and supporting the Service.

2.1 Automatically Collected Information

When using the Service, the following information is automatically collected:

  • Discord User ID: A unique identifier to identify users

  • Discord Server ID: The identifier of the Discord server where the Service is deployed

  • Channel ID: The identifier of the channel where translation features are used

  • Message ID: An identifier to identify the message to be translated (the message content itself is not permanently stored)

Note: The Company does not collect Discord usernames.

2.2 Information Provided by Users

  • Email Address: Collected for paid plan contracts, important Service notifications, and support correspondence

2.3 Payment Information

For paid plans, payment processing is handled through Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment service provider. The Company does not directly store payment information such as credit card numbers. However, payment records (transaction date and time, amount, plan information, etc.) are stored.

2.4 Handling of Message Content

Important: The Service temporarily holds message content in memory for translation processing, but does not permanently store message content in databases or servers. After translation processing is completed, message content is immediately discarded.

Additionally, the Company does not use collected data for AI model training or improvement in any way.

2.5 Information Not Collected

  • Usage statistics (number of translations, language pairs, translation speed, error rates, etc.) are not collected in a form that can identify individuals

  • No additional data collection is performed for topic management or translation priority features

3. Purpose of Information Use

The Company uses collected information for the following purposes:

  • Providing basic Service functions (real-time translation)

  • User account management

  • Paid plan contract management and payment processing

3.2 Service Improvement

  • Service quality improvement and feature enhancement

4. Information Retention Period

  • Discord User ID, Server ID, Channel ID, Message ID: Retained even after Service use ends

  • Email Address: Retained during paid plan usage period and for necessary periods

  • Payment Records: Stored indefinitely in accordance with laws and regulations

  • Usage Statistics (anonymized): Stored indefinitely

4.2 Handling Upon Plan Cancellation

  • Free Trial Termination: If there is no transition to a paid plan, translated message text on Discord will no longer be displayed

  • Paid Plan Cancellation: The Service can be used until the last day of the cancellation request period. After that, translated text will no longer be displayed

4.3 Data Deletion

If users remove the Service Bot from their Discord server, data related to that server will be immediately deleted.

5. Integration with Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with the following third-party services and provides user information within the scope necessary for Service use:

Important: The Service does not use external AI APIs (OpenAI, Google Translate, DeepL, etc.). Translation processing is performed solely by the Company's proprietary AI model (based on Plamo2). This ensures that user data is not transmitted to external services.

13.2 Copyright of Translation Results

The copyright of translation results generated by the Service belongs to the user who posted the original message.

13.3 AI Model and System

The AI model, translation technology, system, and other intellectual property rights used in the Service belong to Enconne Co., Ltd.

14. Disclaimers

14.1 Translation Accuracy

While the Company strives to improve translation accuracy, please understand the following:

  • The Service does not guarantee complete translation accuracy

  • Technical terms, proper nouns, slang, etc. may be mistranslated

  • Translation results may differ from intended meaning depending on context

  • Human verification is recommended for important decision-making

Limitation of Liability: The Company is not liable for damages arising from translation errors. However, this does not apply in cases of intentional or gross negligence by the Company.

14.2 Service Availability

While the Company strives to provide stable Service, the Service may be suspended in the following cases:

  • Regular maintenance (with advance notice)

  • Emergency maintenance

  • Server failures

  • Force majeure (natural disasters, communication failures, etc.)

14.3 Scope of Compensation

  • Planned Maintenance: No compensation will be provided (advance notice will be given)

  • Suspension exceeding 48 hours due to Company responsibility: Users who request will receive a pro-rated refund of the monthly fee. Please refer to the Terms of Service for details

  • Suspension due to force majeure: Not eligible for compensation

14.4 Service Level Agreement (SLA)

  • During Closed Beta period: SLA does not apply

  • Official version: Target monthly uptime of 99% (best effort)

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

15.1 Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

15.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes related to this Policy shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
